Please note: We are considering entry level, associate level (1-3 yrs relevant work experience) and mid-level candidates (3-5 years relevant work experience) for this position. The job title of eCommerce Specialist will be appropriately adjusted in accordance with seniority level.

 SNOW JOE + SUN JOE/EINHELL ECOMMERCE MARKETPLACE SPECIALIST (Corporate HQ, Carlstadt, NJ)

The e-Commerce Marketplace Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of the e-Commerce business for his/her assigned accounts. The right candidate will have omni-channel marketplace experience with Amazon.com, Walmart.com, eBay.com, Homedepot.com, Lowes.com among other key marketplaces. You must possess strong data analysis skills, mathematical acumen, and a positive demeanor. You will have a key role in the management and growth of your designated accounts, implementing strategies to ensure the attainment of key financial goals and objectives. The SNOW JOE + SUN JOE eCommerce Marketplace Specialist will be responsible for all SNOW JOE + SUN JOE sku's whereas the EINHELL eCommerce Marketplace Specialist will be responsible for all EINHELL sku's for his/her designated accounts. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop e-Commerce sales strategies, programs and plans for existing and potential customers. Includes but not limited to assisting in the development of annual business plans and monitoring goals, conducting monthly reviews, preparing marketing calendars for assigned accounts, and leading action item efforts.
  • Be the master of your own ship and drive it to achieve all e-Commerce financial goals for your designated account(s). Will have P&L responsibility for annual web sales targets and profitability across a wide digital customer base.
  • Will define, identify, and implement customer acquisition strategies.
  • Must be both analytical and strategic and embrace the challenge of dramatically increasing e-Commerce environment.
  • Be directly involved in the day-to-day e-Commerce operations, merchandising execution, and maintenance. Ensure all SKU's are uploaded to respective .com accounts to maximize potential earnings. Enhance user experience on .com accounts by finessing each web page with romantic copy, A+ content, most up-to-date imagery, video, upsell items, etc.
  • Help drive the social web marketing strategy as it relates to customer acquisition.
  • Evaluate market share and competition.
  • Assist in web development efforts including application of new technology and content design.
  • Ensure the entire web process exceeds expectations from how the brand is perceived to product availability, quality and order processing timeliness.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in marketing, finance, product, engineering, supply chain, creative, IT, and customer service to ensure the best possible customer experience is achieved.
  • Provide on-going strategic insights based on industry, customer, shopper and marketplace trends to support category strategy.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business management, supply chain, marketing or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of e-Commerce sales experience, but would also consider entry level candidates with demonstrated online sales experience
  • Experience working with Amazon.com (1P or 3P)
  • Must be able to demonstrate successful track record in e-Commerce sales growth
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, and creative problem solving abilities, to assist in meeting company and team goals
  • Motivated self-starter with high energy level, a passion for e-Commerce, and a willingness to do what it takes to achieve goals and objectives
  • Experience with partner retail sites (examples: Walmart Retail Link, Amazon Vendor Central)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of analytical tools -- including site analytics, email measurement, display measurement, and Excel (v-lookup and pivot table knowledge at the minimum).
  • Extremely organized and efficient, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects at once, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn the products in our industry and the competing players in the lawn and garden outdoor power tools space.
